he was the closet resemblance to orr thats what i shouldve said.
If team canada had orr in 72 it wouldn't have been as close as it was. Orr on that huge surface my god. Imagine if Orr played 10 more years what his stats would look like.
I was always #4 when I was growing up because of him. In all sports.
Now my 10 year old twin sons idolize him thanks to these clips.

Coffey...make that Coughie...also didn't play much defence, had terrible +/- numbers, and unlike Orr, never once led the NHL in scoring.
well, that's hard to say since he only played against them in '76 when they sent less than their best and orr was past his peak
still, a good read on the 72 summit series by Jack Ludwig suggests that orr was (is) peerless - and the soviet players knew this, too
