Seems like a serene experience, but remember that these remote cultures don't always enjoy rich outsiders trampling through their homes. You may see your trip as harmless, but you have to realize what would happen if there were tours setup to do this sort of thing. Would you enjoy strangers coming into your house uninvited?

paragliding invests time and effort in nepal ,
training nepalese pilots to be future tandem pilots,& instructors,for the future sustainability of nepalese paragliding, for the
benefit of the local people.
paragliding pilots provide necessary income to the local economy & employment at a substancially higher level than any other tourism.
blue sky provide solutions not problems.
pilots visited even during the war when they
could easily have went on more beaten tracks
and safer places.MAMASTE!

Ah yes capitalism, great idea, seeing as to how it's done so much for all of these developing countries so far. Maybe they can build a strip mall and sell Nepalese paragliding t-shirts and mouse pads that would do wonders for them.

why don't you go for yourself and see for yourself and then it might just lighten your
heart a little ,you sound like you have a chip
on your shoulder as wide as the himal.
don't just judge people by your own narrow
underdanding,blue sky is co-owned by nepalese
and barely brakes even,if you knew something
about running a paragliding co,then you would
know that there are no such thing as rich instructors,we do it for love.

It is not an act of maliciousness if I do not wish to have people littering their bodies on my soil.
These rich westerners come through and molest the native people and their property to serve their own selfish desires.

native nepalese are rather shy and also welcoming. they love tourists coming to their place. i don't intend to offend u but i think there is some difference between tourists and businesmen.

Why the hell not. We are moving (very slowly)towards the idea of globalization (just waiting for the British and American to forget about imperialism and crusading), where you have to help every single one the global community to progress and not use the mountains of Nepal as a place to remind us of the 10th century.
Very nice video. Keep up the good. Any one wants to try finding old beny (bin laden) on a paraglider. they have very nice mountains in the west, haven't seen the rest.

I strongly believe that those who push the limits & boundaries have a larger world than others. They are really the true pioneer. I cannot imagine to fly in such a condition yet they did it. Mother nature has infinity power & energy that we do not know how to utilize it. Awesome, great video.
