i don't mind the wheel chair things but the violinist??? a robot will never be as good as a human violinist, the robot may get the notes correct but it will never have the passion for it as a human will. we don't need these things it will end up costing people their jobs as maids and such believe it or not but some people don't mind being a cleaner not everyone wants to work in an office.

I disagree "Jiffy13", Composition in my mind isn't a jumble of "nonsense". I could go and write a whole bunch of random notes and it wouldn't be a composition in my own mind. Because there has to be passion and feeling behind something in order for it, in my mind, to be regarded as a composition.
If it sounds awful, then surely it cannot count as music rather it would be random noise. Music is an art.

Composition can be anything. Sure not everyone can be a stravinsky or a stradivarious or bach, but at least they are trying to do something new. Minimalism is a form of experimental composition, taking advantage of stacking many small random looping noises on top of each other to make a series of rythmic overtones. This style is hit or miss. Just because someone "misses" doesn't mean its nt music. Music is an art, but you can't be upity about it. It may sound awful to some, but amazing to others
