A raped woman is a victim that must be treated with honor and kindness. She is not required to produce four witnesses to prove the crime done against her, nor is she punished for the crime done against her.
If you accuses someone of committing adultery than YOU need 4 eye-witnesses to prove it. It's not as easy as it sound. The four witnesses should carry a certain criteria. One of it is that they shouldn't be a fasiq (meaning keeps commiting sins) A smoker is considered fasiq.

I see, at least I'm enlighten on the fasiq term. Still, needing 4 saints to prove an adultery is 'blank' (readers fill the blank for me)
But tell me, what about the hudud law?
And, did you agree that investing is gambling as well? The kind of invest which you done nothing, waiting to collect the profit or suffer the loss. In which that is what every tycoon were doing all the time. So i guess everyone of them is sinner then?

If you're a drug addict, you're a sinner. If you distribute it, you're a sinner. Even if you're an innocent farmers who plant the marijuana, you're a sinner. Because of your action (how innocent as it may seemed) will effect everyone. It is considered as a conspiracy. People suffers because of you. Why must you wait until one of your loved ones becomes a hardcore gambler to understand the suffering. There are myriads of profitable and ethical businesses that you can invest. Why choose gambling?

Rensozhuken, I have no idea you're such a moron. If there's no investment in Islam. Why there are so many Islamic products offered in our banking institution and Takaful. If you genuinely wish to know about Islam, go and at least do a little bit of research about the question you wish to ask.

If I have a fund of RM5000 and I keep it under my pillow, I'd be a fool. Firstly it's not safe, secondly after a year and every year thereon my fund would depreciate because one of the pillars of Islam is that I have to pay zakat and mine would fall under zakat simpanan which is 2.5% from the latest balance of my fund. I haven't even touch on inflation rate. You were the one who keep saying please enlighten me. Your question on investment is insulting mine, yours and others intelligent.

I am not here to convert you. You made false accusation about Islam. Everytime I answered, it leads to another false accusation. Do you think I would want a liar as a Muslim? Islam has no problem if you're a tycoon. As long as you pay the zakat and the nature of your business doesn't involved with gambling, alcohol, prostitution and riba'(usury). If you're living in luxury with other people's tax money then there's a problem.

Sorry there's a CORRECTION. For zakat simpanan I must at least have a minimum fund of RM 6400 (85 gram emas) and held it for 1 year to qualify myself to pay zakat which is 2.5% from the lowest balance of the fund within that year. If I'd made a withdrawal and the fund fell to RM5000 within that year. No need to pay zakat.

There is nothing wrong with investment as long as the money is invested in businesses that are allowed in Islam and there is no pre agreement on how much money one will get. Example, I give RM1000 to my buddy to open a restaurant. I may or may not get my money back plus the dividend depending on how well my buddy runs his business. If he did well he will share part of his profit with me. On the other hand if he went bankrupt, I will also lose all of my money.

The laws that Allah had bestowed upon us are not merely to punish the sinners but also to protect the innocents. Example- 10 years ago, from non-Islamic point of view a photo of couple committing adultery may be strong evidence to call them sinners. However by using Photoshop we could accuse anybody committing adultery by just altering their photos. Even DNA test has the same flaw; in the near future we may be able to fabricate the result of DNA test.
