I think Damrau fits the character all together, but I perfer Sumi Jo's voice usually. This song is supposed to be spiteful and intense, she does that well. Even though Sumi has a gorgeous voice, she doesn't portray the queen right.

I don't like Sumi Jo's voice at all on this aria. She's fantastic in general, but I would say she doesn't have the guts for this piece. It just comes off too timid for the Queen.
I also feel like she's constantly slightly flat. Her F6s were rather nice. Though, her triplet run I felt was kind of sloppy =/
Either way, she's fantastic and I'm not a coloratura soprano...so it's better she do it than I. <3
