CAT416C, If your interested in the build like this duramax contact custom auto in idaho falls, idaho at 208-522-7166. Recently we dyno'd at bullydog and hit 1199.4 hp on a single turbo, atm we are currently going for a compound setup on it. thanks

What are you doing to support the bottom end? I know you said it was making 1200 on a single turbo. Is that rated at the wheels? I know the allison drops about 20% from crank to wheel being a turbine tranny..so your looking at almost 1500hp at the crank if thats the case and thats at or past the blocks ability. Just wondering..I know banks sells oil pan that reinforces the main caps and is made of 1" aluminum and help hold the bottom end together. Just wondering what you had for support?

First off, he is still running the allison trans. They can hold more than 60hp, its called a built tranny.
I do not know about Wades motor but I will be running a DPR 4340 Block Girdle/Main Cap/Stud kit.

what world are you living in. I've heard of allisons swaping gears on trucks that are putting out 1000+ hp. there a far cry from stock mind you. but the aftermarket of more than happy to suppily people with the things that they need to keep there engines and transmissions together

your an idiot. you do know there are upgrades to allisons trannys that are whole trans that are set up for high horsepower. and if a tranny can only hold 60 hp. you may have some problems you fuckin moron.
ask anyone who owns a diesel if theres a tough tranny its a turbo 400, powerglide, and a allison.
ive had my duramax since 2001 and ive snowplowed with it every year which is really rough on the trans and still run over 500hp to it

yall are a bunch of smart asses. i have a duramax and i was talking about a STOCK allison can hold 60HP to the wheels. i would like to see you have a STOCK allison and run over 500HP to the WHEELS with it. if you do, you wont have a tranny for long. dont argue and dont be a smartass. im not dumb got it? i go to school for this stuff so i think i know what im talking about. yes you can put aftermarket parts in a allison but im talking about a STOCK tranny
